January 2013. This will be my third attempt at creating and keeping up with a blog. I wasn't exactly sure what the focus of my blog would be. However, after a lengthy discussion with my brother who is very smart and very thoughtful, I came to the conclusion that the real purpose for me would be to explore the journey of my growth as an artist. Yes, I will call myself an artist. I guess that's my resolution for the year.
I create art in many forms. I scrapbook, I make books, I attempt to make jewelry. I have multiple unfinished mixed media projects, and recently I have created a huge pile of unfinished quilting projects. I have also completed quite a few quilts too. Yeah! Every piece is an expression of my thoughts or feelings at the time, and all I know is that making art makes me happy, as long as I am not too critical about it. There's a full on therapy session hidden in there somewhere.
